Save On Your Auto Insurance
Insuring your car is very important because repairing a car can cost you a lot of money. Plus if you get into an accident you are going to want to have someone to help you pay for those costly medical bills. There are a few general types of coverage:
- Bodily Injury- Bodily injury covers any injuries you may receive from a car accident. Your family or anyone else on your policy. You can be covered if you are driving someone else's car.
- Personal Injury Protection (PIP)- This coverage will take care of your medical bill and any money you may lose as result of injuries you have sustained in an auto accident.
- Collision- Collision coverage covers the cost of repairs to your car after an accident.
- Comprehensive- Covers anything else no included in collision. If your car gets damaged outside of an accident, by fire, vandalism, etc.
- Uninsured Coverage- Uninsured covers you if you get into an accident with someone who does not have insurance, or you are victim of a hit and run accident.
Once you decide to get auto insurance you must choose how much or how little coverage you want. When paying auto insurance your policy will have a deductible and a premium. The deductible is the out of pocket amount you pay and the premium is your monthly payment. The larger your deductible the smaller your monthly payment, and vice versa.
